Lilla 3!

Finalmente aqui!

A festa de 3 anos da Lilla foi em setembro de 2012. E, pra mim, foi a melhor festa que eu dei! Por vários motivos... Primeiro porque estávamos precisando economizar, por isso a lista de convidados foi bem enxuta. Senti falta de alguns amigos que não pude chamar, mas a festa foi bem mais íntima e fácil de organizar e curtir, e eu consegui dar mais atenção às crianças, o que foi realmente ótimo.
A decoração tb foi feita aproveitando o que já tinha no local. Sofás, mesa baixa, mesa grande...
Aproveitei o móvel, tipo um rack, que tinha no play (emprestado por uma amiga querida) e dele fiz a nossa mesa. Cupcakes caseiros, cakepops também. Que aliás, apesar de meio tortinhos, ficaram uma delicia! O bolo grande foi feito pela minha tia de coração, e os bombons de chocolate por mais outra amiga querida que sempre me dá esse presente lindo no tema da festa!

Finally here!

Lilla's 3rd birthday party was in september 2012. And for me, it was the best party I've ever made! Lot's of reasons... First because, as our budget was tight(er than the previous years), this was a smaller party. And that was wonderful: I had more time to pay attention to our guests (specially the little ones) and it was so much easier to put everything together.

The place was borrowed from a dear friend, (it's her condo's party room). I worked with what was there: sofas, cofee table... The rack became my party table, for example.
I baked the cupcakes and cakepops (my first attempt on these, they turned out a little crooked but deliciously tasty). The big cake was baked by a dear friend, a "borrowed" aunt. The chocolate candies (kitty shapped!) were made as a gift by another dear friend of mine.

                                            

 

 Fiz gatinhos de pano e feltro, e mais uma amiga querida (sim, tenho muitas! É muito amor viu?) fez os ratinhos de crochet pra acompanhar. As fotos de mais uma amiga querida, como sempre, foram a estrela da decoração.

I've sewn kitty soft toys and another dear friend (yes, I have lots of those! Really blessed!) made the amigurumi mice to go along. Beatiful photos from another dear friends, as always, were the high light of the party decor.

 Muitas muitas orelhinhas de feltro pros convidados entrarem no clima! Essas não teriam saído sem a ajuda de mais uma amiga querida, que passou aqui em casa muitas tardes com tesoura na mão.

Lots of little felt cat ears for all the guests to play along! These would never be ready on time if it wasn't for the help of another dear friend, who spent day after day here in my house with scisors on her hands.

 Cortei o aluguel de brinquedos e, ao invés disso, levei brinquedos de casa mesmo. Fiz um cantinho de brincadeiras com coisas da Lilla e investi num cantinho de artes: levei papel, desenhos pra colorir, tinta, cola colorida, giz de cera, glitter... E sabe? Foi um sucesso!! Tão bom lembrar que criança sabe brincar sem precisar de super-produções!

I gave up on the rented toys this time. I just brought some of Lilla's toys instead. I also put together an art corner, with lots of papers, glitter, colored glued, crayons... And it was a big hit!! So nice to remender kids can play nicely, even when there are no fancy stuff around...

 As orelhinhas de feltro foram um hit! Os pequenos brincaram de gatinho a festa inteira, para imenso prazer da Lilla! Fiz bigodinhos e nariz de gato em todos eles, que encarnaram os personagens e engatinharam o resto da festa pelo chão. Lilla passou MESES dizendo como foi legal o dia em que todo mundo brincou de gatinho com ela! (Afinal, a mania de brincar de gato já a acompanhava no lugar de brincadeira favorita há meses...)

The cat ears were the biggest hit ever! The little ones played and played, for Lilla's delight. I've also drawn little cat noses and whiskers on them. And they made the rest, playing cat on the floor. Lilla talked for MONTHS about the day all of her friends played cat with her (as the cat roll play was her favorite thing to do for months, it was a big thing for her...)

 Tem criança feliz aí? Tem, sim senhor!

Can you spot a happy kid? Oh, yes ma'am!

 Lilla curtiu cada segundo. Rolou no chão, se sujou de tinta, miou e miou, rodopiou e dançou. Está crescendo minha pequena, abençoada pelo Senhor Deus, com um sorriso de orelha a orelha e coração transbordando de amor! Cantou parabéns com muitas palmas, soprou a velhinha com mto fôlego. FELIZ!

Lilla enjoyed every second. She rolled on the floor, she got messy with panits, she meowed to her heart's content, she twirled, she danced.... My little one is getting so big, blessed by God, with a big smile on her face, overflowing with love! She sang her Happy Birthday song, we claped our hands, she blew her candle with a strong breath. HAPPY!

Familia amada que não podia faltar! quase não aparecem nas fotos, pois estavam tomando conta dos bastidores: comandando a cozinha, preparando lanches fresquinhos e gostosos, gelando as bebidas, servindo nossos convidados. Multiplicando a conta de amor na nossa vida.

Ou beloved family. They almost didn't show in the pictures, because they were working on the party, to keep it moving. Fixing snacks, cooling the drinks, serving everyone. Multiplying the love in our lives.

Lilla linda, você é tão amada! Que esse amor se multiplique no seu coração, transborde, alcance os outros. Que você cresça, cresça, saudável e cheia de vida, até uma linda adulta, até uma linda velhinha feliz e satisfeita da vida. Que cada um que passar por sua vida seja tocado pela sua alegria, que Jesus seja sempre seu porto, seu colo, sua casa, seu Tudo. Que você tenha bons amigos com quem dividir suas alegrias e tristezas. E que as tristezas que você enfrentar sirvam pra te ajudar a crescer em sabedoria e construir humildade. Que os obstáculos sejam transpostos com trabalho suado e honesto. Que as risadas sejam um alento. Que nunca faltem abraços, amor, amor, amor... saúde, vida e paz. Você é mto amada, bebê, e amor é adubo pra vida feliz. Cresça saudável, seja a pessoa linda que Deus te criou pra ser! Feliz 3 anos, minha gatinha!

My beautifull Lilla, you are SO loved! May this love multiply in your heart, overflow, and reach others. May you grow up, healthy and strong, to be a beautiful woman, a happy and fullfilled sweet old lady. May everyone who takes a part in your life be touched by your happiness.
