E o vestido amarelo eu adaptei desse molde.

How was your weekend?
Ours was great! Filled with laughter, one sea food lunch at a local favourite restaurant, time in church to praise our beloved Father and a dive into my *japanese fabric!*
Oh, the japanese fabric. Sometimes I look at my fabric stash and just smile to see those siting there... Am I crazy? I won't rest untill I get to sew something with a piece of each one of them.
The matryoshkas dress gave me a hard time. It wasn't my first attempt into changing a peasent pattern into something with no elastic on the neck line. I tought I got what I did wrong last time, but apparently not. I still had to take this one apart and adjust here and there, anxious because I didn't have enough fabric to do it all over again. I'm so glad it worked out after all!
The yellow dress I made using this pattern as a start. But instead, I used regular bias tape (the one we get in the store). I highly recomend this pattern! It was indeed "easy breezy"! The dress was finished in less than 3 hours.

And here is Lilla modeling! Please don't mind the mess, I just got her out of the dress she was wearing and tryed the new one to see if it was ok.

She doesn't like to change clothes, but don't feel sad for her, she gets well "paid" for her job! =)
