-------------------------------------
Well, I have to wait 30 days untill the photographer delivers the official pictures of the party. So I thought, until then, maybe I could tell you all about the party pre-production. What do you think?
First I have to say that it wasn't a very clever idea of mine to choose "Lilla's cupcakes" as a party theme knowing that me and the kitchen are not that really good friends... Cupcakes are cute and they just got me so in love with their prettyness that I ignored the fact that I'm not a talented baker fit for baking 2 hundreds of them. I tryed to get myself ready for the chalenge trying the recipes I found in the internet prior to the party day.

I decided I would bake them all right before the party day, as I didn't want to freeze them. And this was the result of the first bunch:
BAD baker!! / MÁ boleira!!
Sentiram pena de mim? É... foi digno de pena mesmo! =(

Espiei dentro do forno a fornada seguinte:
------------------------------------

Sad, ain't it? You may feel sorry for me. I felt sorry for myself too. And kind of desperate. =(
Well, I'm not a quitter. I couldn't even allow myself to quit, as it would be impossible to hire some to bake the cupcakes in such a short notice (and my small budget wouldn't even allow me to do so). And a "Lilla's cupcakes" party can't happen without cupcakes, right?

So, I reviewed the recipe. Lots of eggs and butter. Back to the oven:

Ufa! Bem melhor!!
----------------------------
Ahhhh! Much better!! After the scary first bunch, the next cupcakes popped out of the oven looking like this:

MUCH better!! / BEM melhor!!
Nham nham! A massa levava choc-chips.
-----------------
Yummi! It was vanilla and choc-chips. In the end we had sooooooooooooooooooooooo many cupcakes on the top of the table (and of every other furnitere in my small living room) that our home smelled like vanilla for days!
-------------------------
Wow! I barely believe it all worked out! But this was just half the job right? In the party day morning I got the priceless help of my beloved (sisters)friends. And aunt Teresa (not a real aunt, but a aunt in heart, mother of one of my friends), queen of the marshmellow, came to my rescue. In the kitchen of the play area of my dad's condo (where the party would be) she made her magic: perfectly delicious marshmellow, like I never could have done myself!
And my friends, who never frosted before, frosted like pros!

Viu?

-------------------------
See? Loooooooooots of LOVE going on for this party to happen! And I thank God so much for taking care of us so dearly, surronding us with all this love... And for Lilla getting such a special first bday party, all made with smiles and tenderness from people who love her so much!

The final result you can see in this preview pictures the photographer sent me:

Yuuuupi!!!
Feliz aniversário, filhota amada! / Happy bday my beloved little girl!!
