O Resgate: Parte 2 / The Rescue: Part 2

Então, vocês lembram que eu disse que queria refazer este desenho?
Hoje eu refiz! E tenho ainda mais 2 pra refazer desta história, os outros tenho que fazer do zero mesmo, tenho só rascunhos. A idéia é ilustrar pelo menos metade dela para mandar pras editoras ainda este ano.
Vocês podem torcer por mim? Melhor ainda, pedir pra Jesus me ajudar?
Eu queria muito que este livro fosse publicado... Mas estou entregando nas mãos do Senhor. É Ele quem sabe!

So, remember I said I wanted to re-do this drawing?
Today I re-did it! I have still 2 drawings to re-do for this story, than the others I'll have to do from scratch, since I only have the roughs. The idea is to illustrate at least half the story so I can send it to publishers by the end of the year and see if someone is interested in publishing it.
Can you guys hope with me for this to work? :)
Anyway, I'm putting it all on God's hands, He knows better.

Este fim de semana foi muito feliz!
Tivemos a visita da Kyra!
Kyra é minha prima. Como a mamãe dela era mãe solteria, voltou a trabalhar no fim da licença maternidade. E eu, todo dia após a escola (eu estudava de manhã) ia pra casa da minha avó (onde a minha tia morou enquanto a Kyk era pequena) e ficava cuidando da Kyra. Minha vovó sempre teve a saúde frágil, então eu ficava bastante com a Kyk. Dava banho, trocava fralda, dava papinha e tudo o mais. Eu AMAVA cuidar dela, a gente se divertia tanto!
A Kyk foi crescendo mas a gente nunca perdeu nosso vínculo especial. Ela ainda é o meu bebêzinho! Sempre vai ser.
Agora ela fez 13 anos. Passa tão rápido. Eu tinha 14 quando ela nasceu!
Nós nos divertimos muito, passamos todo o sábado passeando, comemos pizza e chocolate, brincamos e conversamos.... Foi ótimo!
Levamos ela pra casa ontem. E agora estamos com saudades! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This weekend was great!
We had Kyra with us!
Kyra is my cousin. Her mom, being a single mom, went back to work when Kyra was just a little baby. And I used to go straight from school to grandma’s house (where Kyra and her mommy lived during her babyhood) to take care of Kyra. (here in Brazil we study in diferrent hours, it’s either on the morning from 7am to 12:30pm or in the afternoon from 1pm to 5:30pm. The family can choose. I studyed in the morning.) My granny always had a weak health all of her life, so I was the one who did all for Kyra when I was there. I changed diapers, I fed her, I played with her, I bathed her… I LOVED so much taking care of her! We had so much fun together!
Kyk grew up, but she is still my baby, always will be! We never lost our special relationship.
She just turned 13 now. I was 14 when she was born!
We spent our Saturday walking around, we went to a place where there are lots of kid’s activities downtown, we ate pizza and chocolate, we played and we laughed and we talked… It was wonderfull! Yesterday we took her home. We miss her!

Ah, e no domingo eu completei a Sunny Bunny!
Já estou planejando fazer uns amiguinhos pra ela....

Ela está no hospital e eu estou muito triste com isso.

Ela teve uma parada cardíaca ontem e está sendo mantida em repouso com remédios.

She had a minor cardiac arrest yesterday and is being kept asleep with medicines.

Saudades da Mamãe / Missing Mommy

Estou com saudades da mamãe. Está perto de fazer um ano que não nos vemos.
A mamãe sempre foi minha melhor amiga, a gente se aturou nas melhores e nas piores fazes e moramos só nós duas juntas por muito tempo. Agradeço a Deus por ter me dado uma mamãe preocupada em nos educar, em ser carinhosa e em nos proteger. E ela ainda é a mãe mais linda do mundo inteiro!
Mas agora a mamãe mora em outro país, e fica difícil nos vermos... Isso deve acontecer só no ano que vem. Enquanto isso, curto as minhas saudades... Ainda bem que existe o skype!

Today I woke up missing my mommy. It's been one year since we've seen each other.
Mommy was always my best friend, we handled the best and the worst together, and we lived together just the two of us for a long time (I take a moment to explain to my american friends that, here in Brazil, we don't leave our parents house to go to college. We study in our own cities and we keep living with our parents. Usually, we only leave the nest or when we get married, or when we start to work if we feel the need to. I left my nest one year before my marriage, just because I wanted to experience living by myself. But this is not commom. My husband came from his parents' straight to marriage. And all my non-married friends live with their parents.)
I thank God for giving me a mom interested in really take care of us, and in educate us, in giving us love and cuddles and in protecting us. And plus she is the prettiest mom in the whole world!
But now mommy lives in another country and it's hard for us to meet. This probably will happen only next year... Untill there I'll keep on missing her... Thank God there is Skype to save us!

E isto é um trabalho para a facul.
O professor queria uma pintura com o tema "transparência".
Eu desenvolvi este conceito e dei o nome de "A Cabeça é Transparente Quando os Pensamentos Saem Pela Boca".
Hm... Não estou muito certa quanto ao resultado final não...

Now, this is something I did as college work.
The teacher wanted something with "Transparency" as a theme.
I designed this concept and named it "The Head is Transparent When the Thoughts Come Out Through the Mouth".
Hm... I'm not certain about the final result, though.
