Carrinho é necessário para me ajudar a fazer compras no mercado.

Almost every morning, since September 2009, our little morning routine repeats itself: We wake up, we eat, we play, we shower, we go outside. And going outside means going to my neighborhood's park.
I firmly believe that children need sun. And fresh air, and outings, and walks, and other children to see an play with. So no staying locked inside the apartament for us!
How we go has changed from times to times. There was a season when the sling was our absolut campanion. The stroller is a must have in grocery shopping days. And the bike is our latest vehicel of choice.
There, in the park, Lilla grew. She made friends, she crawled on the sand. She learned to climb stairs, and walked her first steps. I myself have made some very dear friends too. The other mamas at the park were my beloved company, my support and my cherished "grown-up talk" of the day. Wanna take a peak on Lilla's park moments from there to now?

Maybe you are asking yourself why all this nostalgia now, right? Well, because my baby is GROWING! Too fast! I feel really grateful for cherishing each and every second of her days, but I know that soon she will be conquering her "childish independance" bit by bit. She'll keep on making all these amazing discoveries, as wonderfull as her first baby steps, but I won't always be there to witness and cheer her up.
So, why all this mama-drama? Well, see, since Lilla started talking she would ask for the park as soon as she woke up. And even when she didn't ask for it, she would give me a big smile as soon as I said "let's go to the park?"
But it's been a couple of days now since her first "I don't want to go to the park today, mommy!"
Just like like, I woke up on a perfectly normal morning to find out my baby is on the road to becoming a girl. A beautiful and smart little girl, charming and amazing, with new funny things to say, able to express what she thinks of the world, all energic, bouncy, prancy as ever.
And I, as the proud mommy I am, overflow with happiness as I see her growing by the second, as I help her spread her wings and fly.... And at the same time I also wish I could just freeze this perfect moment, when she's all mine, when I can be with her for every new discovery, when I can help her up of every fall and kiss every bruise.
In our life there was no better decision than the one to stop working to be with her. I thank God so much for this oportunity, for being able to come back bit by bit, respecting her time and her needs. I feel so happy for being able to let her be, let her grow, let her be with me for as long as she wishes...
And now, I see she starts to need some new spice in her days.
Next year we'll have a bigger change, as she'll start pre-school. Just 4h/day. And I hope she enjoys her new friends and new activities.
But this year, in response to the "no park today", we joined the ballet classes.
And as she learns to let go of my hand and be herself, i learn to let her fly solo. What a beautifull and hard show it is to watch! =)
As promised, a few seconds on the dance of the cuttest balerina of my world:
