San Francisco - take 4

Este parquinho é o Canion Trail Park, em El Cerrito. Nesse chegávamos fácil a pé. Este tipo de parquinho foi a espinha dorsal da nossa viagem. Eu gosto de dar a Lilla uma atividade ao ar livre todo dia de manhã. Acho que ela precisa gastar energia, e acho que o solzinho que ela pega ajuda a regular o sono. Então na viagem mantivemos este habito.

This is the Canion Trail Park, in El Cerrito. We could easilly reach it by foot from my mom's house. Parks were the guide to our trip. I like to give Lilla a daily playtime in the sun, outside. I believe she needs to spend some energy and I think being under the sunlight in the morning helps her have a better sleep schedule. So we tryed to take her to a park everyday, just like we do here.

Purple nail polish and ultra pink glitter shoes? That's right, totally grandma's doing!

Esse dia foi o único em que encontramos outras crianças neste parque. Ele estava sempre vazio! A empolgação da Lilla foi tanta que ela saiu tentando um inglês enrolation, tadinha... Como as menininhas não entendiam nada do que ela dizia, nem deram muita bola pra minha bichinha...
Sem muito sucesso no seu inglês capenguinha, ela apelou pro cachorro das crianças!
Aproveitei pa perguntar pra mãe das menininhas dicas de programas infantis e parquinhos mais povoados que esse, e saí de lá com uma boa lista de lugares a visitar!

This was the only day we got to see some kids at Canion Trail Park. It was desert most of the time. Lilla was so excited to see some kids, that she made all the efforts to talk to them in english. But poor baby, she coudn't really get passed of the "what's your name" sentence, the rest was just toddler babble. The other girls paid no attention to her, as they couldn't understand what she was saying...
With no success with the kids, Lilla soon turned to their dog!
I took my chance to ask the kids' mother about cool children friendly places and other parks. She gave me a nice list of places to visit!

De inicio, achei que repetiriamos esse parquinho quase todo dia, por ser tão pertinho. Mas com a lista de lugares bacanas na mão e a falta de crianças deste parque, nos empolgamos para visitar os parques das cidades adjacentes! Sorte da Lilla!

In the first days, I thought we'd just visit the nearby park almost everyday. But as soon as I found out about the other parks (and with the lack of kids in this one) we decided to visit other ones in the next days! Lucky for Lilla!
